Surviving Wildest Dreams" Series Oct. 2024
This latest exhibition showcases Corso's fusion of pop and street art styles, inspired by the alternative culture of her era from the 1980's, 90's, to the present in America. Featuring large-scale portraits of women with bionic elements, the series explores the surreal experience of cancer, blending science fiction, as much as discussions of current cancer science of the effects of treatments, with reality.  The backgrounds of these portraits contrast natural and animal prints with neon camouflage, symbolizing the complex realities of living with cancer.
